We are into biotechnology Research, Education and Training especially in Marine Biotechnology areas. We are the first Marine Biotechnology company in India. The sister company, Alpha & Omega Consultants developed the First Indigenous Probiotics in Aquaculture in India which was successfully commercialized by a Chennai based Company, thus leading to the birth of GeoMarine Biotechnologies. Contract Research, Technology development, Technology transfer on Turn-key basis, contract manufacture, consultancy, troubleshooting for biotech industries, organizing workshops, job fairs for educational institutions, etc., are some of the other activities. We have signed several Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with leading Colleges and Universities for various collaborative ventures. Very soon we will be expanding into food biotechnology and nutraceuticals.

Unique Products

We are the ones to develop and market the very first commercially viable indigenous probiotics for "Aquaculture" in India. Some of the microbes that are used are unique when compared to other probiotics available all over the world. The cattle and poultry probiotics formulations have a very unique composition compared to competitors products.

The first ever probiotics for shrimp culture to work effectively in the hyper saline area has been developed from marine bacteria and will be ready for market shortly. This, again makes us the first to develop "first ever probiotics of marine origin".

Contract Research and Other Services

We also undertake Contract Research for smaller R&D companies, do troubleshooting in production, product maximization. Other services such as setting up laboratories, service of lab equipments, Instrument auditing, technology transfer, technology evaluation, etc., are also carried out.
