AFFINITY gel

Best Binding Agent/ Feed Supplement for Shrimps

Aquaculture species like prawns and shrimps are regularly exposed to health problems by diseases, lack of feed acceptance, immunity etc.  To combat situations arising out of above problems farmers use various feed additives and medications.

Most of the feed additives are in powder form (eg: Probiotics, immunostimulants, additional nutrient supplements etc.)  which must be “coated” on feed to reach the gut of the prawn /shrimp.

Apart from disease problems, the animals are also stressed by variations in parameters like pH, Dissolved Oxygen content, Salinity and Temperature.  To maintain the feed intake and the health conditions of the animal during these fluctuations we have to use various feed additives and medicines.

As the name implies, Affinity gel is an efficient and better binding agent with attracting powers.  Affinity gel protects the feed additives by keeping it intact in water and curbs leaching of additives into water.

Affinity gel ensures the dosage you desire to supply to the aquatic species, which results in the exact performance of the additive.

Uses

  •      Affinity gel-  The most advanced, scientifically approved formulation to bind the pelleted feeds.

  •      Clear attraction which reduces feed search time and enhances feeding response.

  •      High water stability in a wide range of pH and salinity.  So it enables to maintain water quality also.

  •      Good supplementation along with pelleted feeds to achieve growth promotion, higher efficiency in FCR and prevent stress.

  •      Affinity gel reduces feed wastage with simultaneous increase of feed consumption.

  •      Affinity gel gives stability to enable consumption within minimum period of time.

DOSAGE

20 and 30 ml of Affinity gel is recommended per kg of pellet feed or as advised by Aquaculture consultant. Affinity gel is applied on feed pellets along with feed additives, shade dried for few minutes before being broadcasted in the pond.
